Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information CVaL collects, why it is used, how long it is kept, and the choices available to clients, businesses, and employees who use the platform.
1. Information we collect
CVaL may collect account and profile information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, business profile details, employee service data, booking preferences, and authentication identifiers.
We also process operational data needed to run the platform, including appointment records, service pricing snapshots, coupon usage, loyalty data, analytics events, IP/device information, notification events, and support communications.
2. Why we collect and use data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, power booking workflows, show business availability, send confirmations or reminders, support analytics, prevent abuse, enforce subscription rules, and improve product performance.
In product terms, the primary basis for processing is to provide the requested platform service, maintain legitimate platform operations and security, and comply with legal obligations where applicable.
3. Booking, analytics, and notifications
Booking and pricing records may be stored together with service snapshots, discounts, appointment statuses, and related audit details so historical records remain accurate even if a business later changes its services or prices.
Analytics data may be used to generate dashboards for businesses and to measure service quality, feature adoption, and platform reliability. Notification data may be used to deliver booking updates, reminders, and important operational messages.
4. Cookies, processors, and third parties
CVaL may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, language preferences, security, and basic product analytics.
The platform may rely on third-party processors or infrastructure providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, media storage, communications, and payments if enabled. Those providers should be documented and reviewed before production launch.
When online subscription payments are enabled, the secure payment provider may receive the minimum information needed to create, authorize, verify, and confirm a payment. CVaL stores payment metadata for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance, but does not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the platform, maintain security and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal or tax obligations.
When data is no longer needed, CVaL should delete or de-identify it according to internal retention rules, subject to technical backup cycles and mandatory recordkeeping requirements.
6. User rights and contact requests
Clients, businesses, and employees may request access, correction, deletion, or clarification regarding certain personal data, subject to identity verification and any legal exceptions that apply.
Privacy, legal, and account-related requests may be sent to CVaL through the contact channels listed on this page so they can be reviewed and handled consistently.
